The property known as Corbyville, is located within the municipal boundary of Belleville, Ontario approximately 4 miles north of the downtown area and 1 mile north of the 401 and Hwy. 37 exchange. Corby Distilleries Limited was established, at this site, in 1859.
The site covers 1886.43 acres and has approximately 3,000 feet of frontage to the east bank of the Moira River.
Approximately 50 acres were previously development as part of the distillery, however, most of the buildings have since been demolished. The balance of the land was agricultural or open land abutting the river, together with part of the river bed. Several structures remain on site and these are summarized on the site page.
